Helen Levitt at Laurence Miller Gallery

Helen Levitt has been associated with the Laurence Miller Gallery for quite a while though I can find no reference to shows at the gallery before 2000. And yet, the first announcement is 1996.

    Don,

    I seem to remember Helen being with Lawrence Miller since I was in art school in the late 80s early 90s. I may have some cards from then.

    I looked at a number of lists of solo exhibitions of Levitt's and in all of them, the first mention of LMG is in 2000. But obviously, I have one from 1996. So it begs the question why aren't the earlier shows mentioned?
